Before use

Ensure the tungsten blade is secured tightly. Match the reamer to the correct pipe size, secure it to your drill, and run at low RPM with steady pressure for a clean, controlled cut.

Cut the old pipe flush with the socket and reuse the fitting that's already there. No melting, no prying, no rebuilding the whole equipment pad to fix one leak.

This kit is built for Australian pool plumbing. It covers 40mm and 50mm pipe in both PN9 and PN12, so you've got the right head for the pipe in front of you.

Most pool leaks turn up in the worst spot. Jammed against a valve, no room to cut back. A reamer works inside the existing socket instead. Pop it in your drill, run it slow, clean the old pipe out, re-glue and move on. The fitting stays put.

Each reamer uses a tungsten carbide blade with four cutting edges. It cuts on centre and won't oversize the socket like the cheap stamped tools do. Runs in any standard drill.

What does the Pool Reamer Kit do?
